What is an EEG?
It’s an acronym for Electroencephalogram. This test studies the electrical activity of our brain to diagnose epilepsies etc. It typically takes around 30 min and involves the placement of electrodes on our scalp using a special gel. One remains totally awake during this and it can be done in both sitting as well as supine posture.
